About us

Brady J. Feliz, M.D. is the experienced medical laboratory director and chief of pathology for MedUSA.

Dr. Feliz enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age 17 during Operation: Desert Storm and served as a Marine Corps infantryman in a landing support battalion after attending training at Camp Pendleton.

While an undergraduate biochemistry major and then a graduate student at U.C. Davis, Dr. Feliz was both a National Institute of Health and National Science Foundation fellow. Dr. Feliz has published in the fields of pediatric renal pathology and neuropathology.

After his training at Stanford University, Dr. Feliz founded MedUSA Pathology with over a decade of experience as the chief of pathology at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. Dr. Feliz also has served as the director of the laboratory at the Napa State Hospital.

Other areas of interest for Dr. Feliz include the medicolegal field and he has been part of the expert reviewer program at the California Medical Board for over a decade. Dr. Feliz is on the medical staff at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa as well as Healdsburg District Hospital. More recently, Dr. Feliz established one of the largest molecular infectious disease testing centers in the Northbay, performing over 50,000 COVID-19 assays from 2021-2023 before expanding testing to include a number of infectious diseases. Dr. Feliz has consulted with multiple start up companies on the inclusion of artificial intelligence/machine based learning to create treatment plans for both infectious disease and oncology.

Dr. Feliz is board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology as well as hematopathology.
